Getting There
Anse Lazio is located on the northwest coast of Praslin. Once you arrive in the vicinity, you’ll need to walk a short distance to reach the beach. There are signs directing the visitors to Anse Lazio, and the path is well-marked.
If you travel from Mahé, you’ll need to take a domestic flight or a ferry to Praslin, where Anse Lazio is located. Domestic flights are available from Mahé to Praslin, and the flight duration is approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Mahé to Praslin, which takes around 1 hour. Once you reach Praslin, you have a few options to reach Anse Lazio:
- Taxi: You can hire a taxi from the airport or the ferry terminal to take you directly to Anse Lazio. Taxis are readily available on the island.
- Rental Car: Renting a car is a popular option on Praslin, as it offers flexibility and convenience. You can rent a car from the airport or various rental agencies on the island.
- Public Bus: Praslin has a public bus system that connects different parts of the island. You can take a bus from the airport or the ferry terminal to Anse Lazio, although the frequency of buses might be limited.

Weather: The Seychelles has a tropical climate, with warm temperatures and high humidity year-round.
Crowds: Anse Lazio is a popular beach, and it can get crowded during the peak tourist season, especially from December to February. If you prefer a quieter and more secluded experience, you might consider visiting during the shoulder seasons (May to June or September to October) when the weather is still favorable, but there are fewer visitors.
